NOW Foods Jojoba Oil Pure

I deep fried my hair with bleach about 8 times, it's been every color of the rainbow and then some, I relaxed it, etc. Everything you could do wrong to your hair, I've done! BUT... Just when I thought all hope was lost, I tried using a little jojoba oil in my hair before flat-ironing it (with a CHI, of course <3) wow. just wow. My hair is just as soft, if not softer than it was before I ever burned it a million times over. It comes out very straight, and the style holds very well. Mind you, it's really easy to over do it with this oil because it's so concentrated, but I personally don't trust it unless it comes pure. For shoulder length hair like mine, I use about 3 or 4 drops each time. THAT'S IT. Or it'll look more oily than the fields in the middle east. I've done this on my sister's hair (which is completely different, it's very kinky) and it works even better. Since her hair isn't bleached, it not only comes out straight and soft but shiny as well (and not in the omg oil way). I love this stuff so much. Without it, I might have had to shave off all of my hair! :x (oh yeah, make sure to straighten/style with this oil after your hair is already dried)

I switched to this product mainly because I didn't like the stickiness of 15% minoxidil. This product has only 5% minoxidil. It dries faster. I do see some white powder sometimes on my scalp if use this product right after I take a shower and don't dry my scalp very well. I've used 2 containers and this stuff is great. I have very thick hair so I needed something strong but didn't want the pine straw hard feel that so many other products left me with. As my title says though, you have to learn to get the wetness of your hair just right before applying this stuff as it CAN get too hard if your hair is too wet. If it's too dry, it won't hold like some guys want their hair. I've gotten to the point where after I shower, I'll towel dry my hair then get dressed and THEN apply the product as letting the hair air dry just a bit more after towel drying seems to let a little more moisture out of the hair and really gets the "just right" matte look. I've tried several other products and this one is hands down the best for the money and is easy to find.

I have long hair- its almost to my butt and straight. It tangles very easily and I have to brush my hair before I wash it otherwise I will not be able to get it untangled after I wash it. I used expensive thick conditioners just so that it makes it somewhat easier. but still it would take me at a very long and painful time to finally get my hair smooth.
I ordered this and I tried it immediately on my dry hair, that had been brushed earlier, and the brush went thru with ease and the bristles did not get caught and pull my hair hard at all.
I then tried it after I washed my hair- without brushing it right before washing it like I normally would- and I had no issues what so ever- it was the fastest and easiest time I have ever had brushing my wet hair, and there was no pain. I was afraid that maybe it wasnt getting everywhere because it just seemed to be working too good, so I took the brush I normally used and brushed it after and it was smooth.
Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this brush and I could not be happier.
Ohhh I also at the same time bought a detangling comb... and that didnt work- it kept getting stuck in my hair.
